Eureka-Call zu Biotechnologie 2026: Unterstützung beim Matchmaking für KMU
Am 31. März öffnet eine multilaterale Eureka-Ausschreibung
für marktnahe F&E-Projekte im Bereich Biotechnologie. Zwei
Veranstaltungen bieten besonders geeignete Möglichkeiten für Matchmaking:
der Swiss Biotech Day (4.-5. Mai) und der Global Innovation Summit (6.
Mai). Beide Veranstaltungen finden in Basel (Schweiz) statt. Mit einem
Aufruf zu Interessensbekundungen unterstützt das Bundesministerium für
Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR) gezielt die Teilnahme von bis
zu 30 deutschen KMU. Interessierte KMU können sich bis zum 24. April 2026
beim Eureka-Büro des BMFTR melden.

Access2EIC, das europäische Netzwerk von 16 nationalen
Kontaktstellen für den EIC, hat neue kommentierte Templates für den Kurz-
und den Vollantrag für den EIC Accelerator veröffentlicht.

Der EIC Accelerator unterstützt Ihr innovatives Projekt bei der Markteinführung und Skalierung – mit bis zu 12,5 Mio. EUR an Zuschüssen und Beteiligungskapital für Start-ups und KMU. Im Webinar erhalten Sie einen strukturierten Überblick und über die Zielsetzung, Förderbedingungen und Antragslogik des Programms. Zudem werden Auswahlkriterien, Förderquoten sowie typische Erfolgsfaktoren und häufige Fallstricke im Antragsprozess erläutert. Webinar zum EIC STEP Scale-up

Das EIC STEP Scale-up ist ein Förderprogramm, das Start-ups und KMU Co-Investitionen in Höhe von 10 bis 30 Mio. Euro in größeren Finanzierungsrunden bietet. Ziel ist es, die Skalierung bahnbrechender Innovationen in den Bereichen digitale Technologien, saubere Technologien und Biotechnologie voranzutreiben.
Im Webinar stellt die NKS EIC Accelerator das EIC STEP
Scale-up Programm interessierten Unternehmen vor und gibt einen Überblick
über die Antragstellung. Zudem haben die Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit,
offene Fragen zu stellen.
Teilnehmen können Investorinnen und Investoren, kleine
Midcaps, KMU und Start-ups, die sich für das Programm interessieren,
derzeit einen Antrag vorbereiten oder eine Antragstellung planen.
Beratungsunternehmen sind von der Teilnahme ausgeschlossen.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.
Webseminar "Snacks & Skills: "Antragstellung für den EIC Accelerator des Europäischen Innovationsrats"

Das Steinbeis Europa Zentrum und die NKS EIC Accelerator laden zu einer kompakten Infosession mit Tipps und Tricks zur Antragstellung für den EIC Accelerator ein. Zielgruppe sind innovative KMU und Start-ups mit Deep-Tech Innovationen. Der Fokus liegt auf der Skalierung, Markteinführung und dem Zugang zu Mischfinanzierung (Grants + Equity).
Teilnehmende erhalten eine allgemeine Einführung in die
Förderprogramme des Europäischen Innovationsrats und einen Überblick über
den EIC Accelerator. Die Referenten geben Einblicke in die Förderoptionen
und teilen unter anderem konkrete Hinweise zu Evaluierungskriterien, sowie
Tipps und Tricks im Antragstellungsprozess.

Darüber hinaus werden Auswahlkriterien, Förderquoten sowie typische Erfolgsfaktoren und häufige Fallstricke im Antragsprozess erläutert. Global Innovation Summit 2026 am 6. Mai in Basel (auf Englisch)

Der Global Innovation Summit (GIS) 2026 des
Eureka-Netzwerks ist ein internationales Forum für die Vernetzung von
Unternehmen, Politik, Innovatorinnen und Innovatoren und Forschenden. Die
Veranstaltung bietet hochrangige Key Notes und Podiumsdiskussionen,
Informationen zu grenzüberschreitenden Fördermöglichkeiten und Matchmaking
Sessions. Die Veranstaltung findet unter dem aktuellen Eureka-Vorsitz der
Schweiz am 6. Mai 2026 in Basel statt.

Webinar der NKS EIC Accelerator zum Pitch Deck „Mastering the EIC Accelerator Deck - From Read Deck to Live Pitch” (auf Englisch)
21. Mai 2026, 10:00–11:30 Uhr, online
In diesem Webinar lernen interessierte Bewerberinnen und Bewerber, wie sie ein effektives EIC Accelerator Pitch Deck erstellen können, das für Stufe 2 des Bewerbungsprozesses und als Live-Pitch Deck im Jury-Interview im EIC Accelerator verwendet werden kann. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf das Storytelling gelegt, das sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich erfolgen sollte. Das Pitch Deck sollte die „Equity Story” erzählen und nicht nur eine „Sammlung von Folien mit Zahlen” sein.
Geleitet wird das Webinar von Irene Bejenke Walsh. Sie ist
seit über 25 Jahren international als Venture- und Pitch-Coach tätig, mit
einem Schwerpunkt auf Deep-Tech Start-ups und Spin-offs. Frau Bejenke
Walsh unterstützt die NKS regelmäßig bei den Interviewtrainings im Rahmen
des EIC Accelerator.
Die Teilnahme am Webinar ist ausschließlich KMU und
Start-ups vorbehalten, die bereits einen Antrag beim EIC Accelerator
gestellt haben oder dies planen. Beratungsagenturen sind von der Teilnahme
ausgeschlossen. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.

Eureka Call for Biotechnology 2026: Matchmaking Support for SMEs
On March 31, a multilateral Eureka call for proposals will
open for market-oriented R&D projects in the field of biotechnology.
Two events offer particularly suitable opportunities for matchmaking:
Swiss Biotech Day (May 4–5) and the Global Innovation Summit (May 6). Both
events will take place in Basel (Switzerland). Through a call for
expressions of interest, the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and
Space (BMFTR) is specifically supporting the participation of up to 30
German SMEs. Interested SMEs can contact the BMFTR’s Eureka Office by
April 24, 2026.

Access2EIC, the European network of 16 national contact
points for the EIC, has published new annotated templates for the short
and full applications for the EIC Accelerator.

The EIC Accelerator supports your innovative project
during market launch and scaling - with up to €12.5 million in grants and
equity capital for start-ups and SMEs. The webinar will provide you with a
structured overview of the programme's objectives, funding conditions and
application logic. Selection criteria, funding quotas, typical success
factors and common pitfalls in the application process will also be
explained. The programme is aimed at start-ups and SMEs looking for
funding for high-risk, market-oriented innovation projects.
The event is organised by EEN Bremen in co-operation with the NKS
EIC Accelerator and EEN
Niedersachsen.
Webinar on the EIC STEP scale-up (in German)

The EIC STEP Scale-up is a funding programme that offers
start-ups and SMEs co-investments of 10 to 30 million euros in larger
financing rounds. The aim is to drive the scaling of breakthrough
innovations in the fields of digital technologies, clean technologies and
biotechnology.
In the webinar, the NCP EIC Accelerator will present the
EIC STEP Scale-up Programme to interested companies and provide an
overview of the application process. Participants will also have the
opportunity to ask open questions.
Investors, small mid-caps, SMEs and start-ups that are
interested in the programme, are currently preparing an application or are
planning to submit an application can take part. Consultancy firms are
excluded from participation.

Webinar “Snacks & Skills: ‘Applying for the European Innovation Council's EIC Accelerator” (in German)

The Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and the NCP EIC Accelerator
invite you to an information session featuring tips and tricks for
applying to the EIC Accelerator. The target audience is innovative SMEs
and startups with deep-tech innovations. The focus is on scaling, market
launch, and access to blended finance (grants + equity).
Participants will receive a general introduction to the
European Innovation Council’s funding programs and an overview of the EIC
Accelerator. The speakers will provide insights into the funding options
and share, among other things, specific guidance on evaluation criteria,
as well as tips and tricks for the application process.

Global Innovation Summit 2026 on 6 May in Basel
The Eureka Network's Global Innovation Summit (GIS) 2026
is an international forum for networking between companies, policymakers,
innovators and researchers. The event offers high-level keynotes and panel
discussions, information on cross-border funding opportunities and
matchmaking sessions. The event will take place under Switzerland's
current Eureka presidency on 6 May 2026 in Basel.

NKS EIC Accelerator Webinar on the Pitch Deck: “Mastering the EIC Accelerator Deck – From Read Deck to Live Pitch” (in English)

In this webinar, interested applicants will learn how to
create an effective EIC Accelerator pitch deck that can be used for Stage
2 of the application process and as a live pitch deck during the jury
interview at the EIC Accelerator. Special emphasis will be placed on
storytelling, which should be done both in writing and orally. The pitch
deck should tell the “equity story” and not merely be a “collection of
slides with numbers.”
The webinar will be led by Irene Bejenke Walsh. She has
been working internationally as a venture and pitch coach for over 25
years, with a focus on deep-tech startups and spin-offs. Ms. Bejenke Walsh
regularly supports the NCP with interview training as part of the EIC
Accelerator.
Participation in the webinar is reserved exclusively for SMEs and startups that have already submitted an application to the EIC Accelerator or plan to do so. Consulting agencies are excluded from participation.

The EIC Summit will take place on June 3 and 4, 2026 in
Tour & Taxis (Brussels). During the event, participants will have the
opportunity to network and meet EIC projects that will be presented in the
exhibition.
