Die Nationale Kontaktstelle (NKS) EIC Accelerator freut
sich, erneut über erfolgreiche Interviewtrainings mit den Teams der EIC
Accelerator Interviewrunde im Januar 2025 berichten zu können. Insgesamt
haben 20 Unternehmen an unseren Trainings teilgenommen, um sich optimal
auf ihr Interview vorzubereiten.

Unsere Trainings richten sich an alle Teams, die zur Interviewphase eingeladen wurden. Sie bestehen aus zwei Teilen:

Pitch Training: Hier schärfen die Kandidaten ihre Präsentation, um die Jury von ihrer Innovationsidee zu überzeugen.
Q&A-Training: In dieser Einheit bereiten wir die Teams gezielt auf die Fragerunde vor, um auch kritischen Fragen souverän begegnen zu können.
Mit diesem Angebot unterstützen wir die Teams aus
Deutschland dabei, selbstbewusst und professionell in die entscheidende
Interviewrunde zu gehen.

European Innovation Council Summit 2025
Vom 2. bis 3. April 2025 findet in Brüssel der European
Innovation Council Summit statt. Der erste Tag ist den EIC-geförderten
Teams mit Workshops, Pitching Sessions und Networking-Möglichkeiten
gewidmet. Der zweite Tag ist öffentlich und bietet Diskussionen und
Kamingespräche zu verschiedenen Themen. Während der gesamten Veranstaltung
haben die Teilnehmer die Möglichkeit, Kontakte zu knüpfen und die in der
Ausstellung präsentierten EIC-Projekte kennenzulernen.
Themenschwerpunkte im EIC Accelerator 2025
Mit dem EIC Arbeitsprogramm 2025 wurden auch neue
„Challenges“ im EIC Accelerator vorgestellt. Diese Herausforderungen
wurden in Bereichen identifiziert, in denen bahnbrechende Technologien und
Innovationen, die von Start-ups oder KMU entwickelt werden, einen großen
Einfluss auf die Ziele der EU haben können. Im Jahr 2025 sollen die
Challenges Innovationen in fünf Schlüsselsektoren vorantreiben:
fortgeschrittene Materialien, Biotechnologie, künstliche Intelligenz,
Weltraumtechnologie und Mobilität der Zukunft. Für die Umsetzung der
Challenges stehen insgesamt 250 Millionen Euro zur Verfügung. Neben den
Challenges gibt es weiterhin die themenoffene Ausschreibung im EIC
Accelerator.

39. CORNET Call geöffnet
Am 22. Januar 2025 hat das internationale Fördernetzwerk
CORNET die aktuelle Ausschreibungsrunde geöffnet. Mit CORNET fördert das
Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz grenzüberschreitende
Forschungs- und Entwicklungsvorhaben unter Beteiligung von Unternehmen und
Forschungspartnern. Es gilt, die Innovationsfähigkeit von kleinen und
mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) zu erhöhen und ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu
stärken. Im Rahmen des 39. CORNET Calls können internationale Projektkonsortien
bis zum 26. März 2025 um 12 Uhr CEST (Central European Summer Time)
Anträge im transnationalen Fördernetzwerk CORNET einreichen.
Das CORNET-Team beim DLR PT lädt alle antragsberechtigten
Forschungsvereinigungen am 5. und 12. Februar zu einer virtuellen
90-minütigen Informationsveranstaltung zur Antragstellung im
CORNET-Netzwerk ein.

EIC STEP Scale-up: Leitfaden zur Unterstützung potentieller Bewerber
Das EIC STEP Scale-up Programm ist Teil der Plattform
Strategische Technologien für Europa (STEP) und bietet finanzielle
Unterstützung in Form von Investitionen zwischen 10 und 30 Millionen Euro
für Start-ups, KMU und kleine Midcap-Unternehmen.

Antragstellerwerkstatt der NKS EIC Accelerator zum Vollantrag im EIC Accelerator

Uhrzeit: 10:00-11:30 Uhr
Der EIC Accelerator richtet sich an kleine und mittlere
Unternehmen, einschließlich Start-ups, die bahnbrechende, risikoreiche
Innovationen mit hohem Marktpotenzial entwickeln, und bietet sowohl
Zuschüsse als auch Beteiligungskapital, um die Innovation bis zur
Marktreife zu entwickeln. Das Antragsverfahren im EIC Accelerator ist
dreistufig: In der ersten Stufe wird ein Kurzantrag mit einem Video und
einer Pitch-Präsentation eingereicht. In der zweiten Stufe reichen die
Bewerber mit den besten Projektvorschlägen einen Vollantrag ein. In der
dritten Stufe werden besonders erfolgversprechende Antragstellende zum
Interview eingeladen.
In der Antragstellerwerkstatt zum Vollantrag erhalten die Teilnehmenden einen Einblick in die Stufe 2, den Vollantrag. Das Antragssystem und die Antragsvorlage werden vorgestellt.
Teilnehmen können alle KMU und Start-ups, die sich für das Programm interessieren, aktuell einen Antrag im EIC Accelerator stellen oder planen, einen Antrag zu stellen. Beratungsagenturen sind von der Teilnahme ausgeschlossen. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.

Das neue EIC STEP Scale-up ist ein Förderprogramm, das Start-ups und KMU Investitionen in Höhe von 10 bis 30 Mio. EUR als Co-Investitionen in größeren Finanzierungsrunden bietet. Ziel ist es, die Skalierung bahnbrechender Innovationen in den Bereichen digitale Technologien, saubere Technologien und Biotechnologie zu fördern.
Im Online-Seminar stellt die NKS EIC Accelerator
Interessierten das EIC STEP Scale-up Programm vor und gibt einen Überblick
über die Antragstellung. Die Teilnehmenden haben zudem die Möglichkeit,
offene Fragen zu adressieren.
Teilnehmen können alle Investoren, kleine Midcaps, KMU und
Start-ups, die sich für das Programm interessieren, derzeit einen Antrag
vorbereiten oder eine Antragstellung planen. Beratungsunternehmen sind von

Successful interview trainings of the NCP EIC Accelerator
The National Contact Point (NCP) EIC Accelerator is
pleased to report another successful interview training with the teams of
the EIC Accelerator interview round in January 2025. A total of 20
companies took part in our training sessions to optimally prepare for
their interview.
Our training sessions are designed for all teams invited to the interview stage. They consist of two parts:

Pitch training: Candidates improve their presentation skills to convince the jury of their innovation idea.

Q&A training: In this session, we prepare the teams specifically for the Q&A session so that they can confidently answer critical questions.
With this programme, we are helping the teams from Germany to enter the final round of the application process with confidence and professionalism.

European Innovation Council Summit 2025
The European Innovation Council Summit will take place in
Brussels from 2 to 3 April 2025. The first day is dedicated to EIC-funded
teams with workshops, pitching sessions and networking opportunities. The
second day is open to the public and offers discussions and fireside chats
on various topics. Throughout the event, participants will have the
opportunity to network and get to know the EIC projects presented in the
exhibition.
Challenges in the EIC Accelerator 2025
The EIC Work Programme 2025 also introduced new EIC
Accelerator 'Challenges'. These Challenges have been identified in areas
where breakthrough technologies and innovations developed by start-ups or
SMEs can have a major impact on EU objectives. In 2025, the Challenges aim
to drive innovation in five key areas: advanced materials, biotechnology,
artificial intelligence, space and future mobility. A total of €250
million is available to implement the Challenges. In addition to the
Challenges, there is still an open call for proposals for the EIC
Accelerator.

39th CORNET Call open
On 22 January 2025, the international funding network
CORNET opened the current call for proposals. With CORNET, the Federal
Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action is funding cross-border
research and development projects involving companies and research
partners. The aim is to increase the innovative capacity of small and
medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and strengthen their
competitiveness.
As part of the 39.
CORNET Call, international project consortia can submit applications
to the transnational CORNET funding network until 26 March 2025 at 12:00
pm (Central European Summer Time).
The CORNET team at DLR PT invites all eligible research
associations to a virtual 90-minute information event on 5 and 12 February
on how to apply.

EIC STEP Scale-up: Application Guide to support potential applicants
The EIC STEP Scale-up programme is part of the Strategic
Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) and offers financial support in
the form of investments between 10 and 30 million euros for start-ups,
SMEs and small mid-caps.

NCP EIC Accelerator Application Workshop: EIC Accelerator full Proposal (in German language)

The EIC Accelerator is aimed at small and medium-sized
enterprises, including start-ups, developing breakthrough, high-risk
innovations with high market potential and offers both grants and equity
to develop the innovation to market maturity. The EIC Accelerator
application process consists of three stages: In the first stage, a short
application with a video and a pitch presentation is submitted. In the
second stage, applicants with the best project proposals submit a full
proposal. In the third stage, the most promising applicants are invited
for an interview.
The full proposal workshop provides participants with an
insight into stage 2, the full proposal. The application system and the
application template will be presented.
The workshop is open to all SMEs and start-ups interested
in the programme, currently applying to the EIC Accelerator or planning to
apply. Consultancy companies are excluded from participation.
Participation is free of charge.
