Im aktuellen Auswahlverfahren des EIC Accelerators sichert
sich Deutschland zum Stichtag im Oktober 2025 eine Spitzenposition: Von
den insgesamt 61 europaweit ausgewählten Start-ups und KMU stammen 9
Unternehmen aus Deutschland. Damit belegt Deutschland (gleichauf mit
Spanien) den ersten Platz unter den 17 erfolgreichen EU- und assoziierten
Ländern. Insgesamt werden für diesen Stichtag 467 Millionen Euro an
Fördermitteln für zukunftsweisende Deep-Tech-Innovationen
bereitgestellt.
Aufzeichnung der Veranstaltung zur Pauschalförderung in Horizon Europe
Am 11. Februar 2026 fand die Veranstaltung „Lump Sum
Funding in Horizon Europe: How does it work? How to write a lump sum
proposal?” mit Informationen und Einblicken in praktische Erfahrungen

KMU-Fonds 2026
Der KMU-Fonds ist ein Finanzhilfeprogramm, das in der EU
ansässigen kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) helfen soll, ihre
Rechte des geistigen Eigentums zu schützen. Der KMU-Fonds ist eine
Initiative der Europäischen Kommission, die vom Amt der Europäischen Union
für geistiges Eigentum durchgeführt wird und vom 2. Februar 2026 bis zum
4. Dezember 2026 dauert.

Voraussichtliche Termine für Interviewphase
Die voraussichtlichen Termine für die Interviewphase im
Rahmen des EIC Accelerator 2026 stehen fest. Bitte beachten Sie diese
Zeiträume bei der Einreichung Ihrer Vollanträge:

Der EIC Accelerator richtet sich an kleine und mittlere Unternehmen, einschließlich Start-ups, die bahnbrechende, risikoreiche Deep-Tech-Innovationen mit hohem Marktpotenzial entwickeln. Das Programm bietet sowohl Zuschüsse als auch Beteiligungskapital, um Innovationen bis zur Marktreife zu bringen.
Das Bewerbungsverfahren für den EIC Accelerator ist
dreistufig: In der ersten Stufe wird ein Kurzantrag mit Video und
Pitch-Präsentation eingereicht. In der zweiten Stufe stellen die
Kandidaten mit den besten Projektvorschlägen einen Vollantrag. In der
dritten Stufe werden besonders vielversprechende Antragstellende zu einem
Interview eingeladen.

Antragstellenden Informationen zum Programm und einen Einblick in die
Antragstellung.

gestellt haben oder dies planen. Beratungsagenturen sind von der Teilnahme
ausgeschlossen. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.
EU-Förderung im Überblick - Der EIC Accelerator - Eine Info-Veranstaltung des Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Bremen
07.04.2026, 10:00-11:00 Uhr, online
Der EIC Accelerator unterstützt Ihr innovatives Projekt bei der Markteinführung und Skalierung – mit bis zu 12,5 Mio. € an Zuschüssen und Beteiligungskapital für Start-ups und KMU. Im Webinar erhalten Sie einen strukturierten Überblick und über die Zielsetzung, Förderbedingungen und Antragslogik des Programms. Zudem werden Auswahlkriterien, Förderquoten sowie typische Erfolgsfaktoren und häufige Fallstricke im Antragsprozess erläutert. Das Programm richtet sich an Start-ups und KMU, die eine Förderung für risikoreiche, marktorientierte Innovationsprojekte suchen.
Die Veranstaltung wird von EEN Bremen in Zusammenarbeit mit der NKS
EIC Accelerator und EEN
Niedersachsen durchgeführt.
Webinar zum EIC STEP Scale-up
15.04.2026, 10:00–11:00 Uhr, online
Das EIC STEP Scale-up ist ein Förderprogramm, das
Start-ups und KMU Co-Investitionen in Höhe von 10 bis 30 Mio. Euro in
größeren Finanzierungsrunden bietet. Ziel ist es, die Skalierung
bahnbrechender Innovationen in den Bereichen digitale Technologien,
saubere Technologien und Biotechnologie voranzutreiben.
Im Webinar stellt die NKS EIC Accelerator das EIC STEP
Scale-up Programm interessierten Unternehmen vor und gibt einen Überblick
über die Antragstellung. Zudem haben die Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit,
offene Fragen zu stellen.
Teilnehmen können Investorinnen und Investoren, kleine
Midcaps, KMU und Start-ups, die sich für das Programm interessieren,
derzeit einen Antrag vorbereiten oder eine Antragstellung planen.
Beratungsunternehmen sind von der Teilnahme ausgeschlossen.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.
Webinar zum EIC Accelerator in der „EU-FÖRDERUNG Kompakt“-Seminarreihe des Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Berlin-Brandenburg

Das Webinar bietet einen kompakten Überblick über den EIC
Accelerator – das zentrale EU-Förderinstrument für hochinnovative
Start-ups und KMU mit hohem Wachstumspotenzial. Im Webinar erhalten die
Teilnehmenden einen strukturierten Einblick in Zielsetzung,
Förderbedingungen und Antragslogik des Programms. Darüber hinaus werden
Auswahlkriterien, Förderquoten sowie typische Erfolgsfaktoren und häufige

Global Innovation Summit 2026 am 6. Mai in Basel
Der Global Innovation Summit (GIS) 2026 des
Eureka-Netzwerks ist ein internationales Forum für die Vernetzung von
Unternehmen, Politik, Innovatorinnen und Innovatoren und Forschenden. Die
Veranstaltung bietet hochrangige Key Notes und Podiumsdiskussionen,
Informationen zu grenzüberschreitenden Fördermöglichkeiten und Matchmaking
Sessions. Die Veranstaltung findet unter dem aktuellen Eureka-Vorsitz der
Schweiz am 6. Mai 2026 in Basel statt.

EIC-Projekten, die in der Ausstellung präsentiert werden.

Latest news
Germany tops the EIC Accelerator
Germany has secured a top position in the selection
process for the October 2025 cut-off date. Nine of the 61 start-ups and
SMEs selected across Europe are from Germany. This puts Germany in joint
first place with Spain among the 17 successful EU and associated
countries. A total of €467 million in funding for deep tech innovations
will be made available for successful teams.

On 11 February 2026, the 'Lump Sum Funding in Horizon
Europe: How Does It Work?' event took place. It provided information and

SME Fund 2026
The SME Fund is a grant scheme designed to help EU-based
small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) protect their intellectual
property (IP) rights. The SME Fund is a European Commission initiative
implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and
will run from 2 February 2026 to 4 December 2026.

Provisional dates for the interview phase
The provisional dates for the interview phase of the EIC
Accelerator 2026 have been set. Please note these dates when submitting
your full applications:

May 18–22, 2026: Interviews for the January and March cut-off dates

October 19–24, 2026: Interviews for the May and July deadlines

February 15–19, 2027: Interviews for the September and November deadlines.

Online seminar series of the NCP EIC Accelerator in March 2026
March 12/13, 19 and 25, 2026, each starting at 10:00
am, online
The EIC Accelerator is aimed at small and medium-sized
enterprises, including start-ups, developing breakthrough, high-risk,
deep-tech innovations with high market potential. The programme offers
both grants and equity capital to bring innovations to market.
The application process for the EIC Accelerator has three
stages: In the first stage, a short application with a video and pitch
presentation is submitted. In the second stage, the candidates with the
best project proposals submit a full proposal. In the third stage,
particularly promising applicants are invited to an interview.
The online seminar series of the NCP EIC Accelerator
provides applicants with information on the programme and an insight into
the application process.

The EIC Accelerator supports your innovative project
during market launch and scaling - with up to €12.5 million in grants and
equity capital for start-ups and SMEs. The webinar will provide you with a
structured overview of the programme's objectives, funding conditions and
application logic. Selection criteria, funding quotas, typical success
factors and common pitfalls in the application process will also be
explained. The programme is aimed at start-ups and SMEs looking for
funding for high-risk, market-oriented innovation projects.
The event is organised by EEN Bremen in co-operation with the NKS
EIC Accelerator and EEN
Niedersachsen.
Webinar on the EIC STEP scale-up (in German)

The EIC STEP Scale-up is a funding programme that offers
start-ups and SMEs co-investments of 10 to 30 million euros in larger
financing rounds. The aim is to drive the scaling of breakthrough
innovations in the fields of digital technologies, clean technologies and
biotechnology.
In the webinar, the NCP EIC Accelerator will present the
EIC STEP Scale-up Programme to interested companies and provide an
overview of the application process. Participants will also have the
opportunity to ask open questions.
Investors, small mid-caps, SMEs and start-ups that are
interested in the programme, are currently preparing an application or are
planning to submit an application can take part. Consultancy firms are
excluded from participation.
Participation is free of charge.
Webinar on EIC Accelerator in the "EU-FÖRDERUNG Kompakt" seminar series (in German)

The webinar offers a compact overview of the EIC
Accelerator - the central EU funding instrument for highly innovative
start-ups and SMEs with high growth potential. The webinar will provide
participants with a structured insight into the programme's objectives,
funding conditions and application logic. In addition, selection criteria,
funding quotas, typical success factors and common pitfalls in the
application process will be explained. The webinar is aimed in particular
at start-ups, SMEs and innovation-orientated companies that are
considering EU funding for high-risk, near-market innovation
projects.

Global Innovation Summit 2026 on 6 May in Basel
The Eureka Network's Global Innovation Summit (GIS) 2026
is an international forum for networking between companies, policymakers,
innovators and researchers. The event offers high-level keynotes and panel
discussions, information on cross-border funding opportunities and
matchmaking sessions. The event will take place under Switzerland's
current Eureka presidency on 6 May 2026 in Basel.
Participation is free of charge.
EIC Summit June 3 and 4, 2026

The EIC Summit will take place on June 3 and 4, 2026 in
Tour & Taxis (Brussels). During the event, participants will have the
opportunity to network and meet EIC projects that will be presented in the
exhibition.
